I've been using WoW Model Viewer for a few weeks. No problems up 'til today.

I had gone to "View NPC" and started typing before the search box was up... and my keystrokes were loading different characters/npcs in the screen in rapid succession. It took a few characters to cycle through before it stopped and after I clicked into the search box I was able to view the NPC I wanted. However now whenever I select an animation/movement they all close their eyes.

I suspect I accidentally hit a key that changed a setting... somewhere... but I can't figure out what it was. It happens on every NPC and every Armory character I load, even ones I'd saved locally, EXCEPT when in "Stand (0)" pose/animation. Any other animations they've all got their eyes closed.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to reset things?

I've even uninstalled/reinstalled and they all close their eyes when animated now.

There's a bug with the blinking animation. Not sure where/how it's happening, but there's an easy work around.

You can hide the eyelid geoset, and it'll be fine. (On Blood Elf women, it's geoset 1.) They won't blink, but at least you can see their eyes...

That seems to work on Characters I load from the Armory (thank you for that!), but not on NPC models.

I just did a system restore to 2 days prior to when the problem happened and now it works fine.

I have the same problem, but how do I change the geoset? Or even get to it?

View->Model Control will open the list of geosets. At that point, you just need to click the checkbox to show/hide a geoset.

Workaround for male night elves and possibly for others as well. It would require to sync up animations or poses to get the eyes right, but it's better than nothing at this point.

Basically, you turn on 'Best' rendering to see the eyes. Unfortunately, you'll need to manually mask afterwards for just the eye area, or you can try enabling/disabling geosets in this mode until it's back to normal, but for my purposes I don't need to do that (and I think it's easier to just mask).
We are inherently unworthy, simply because we're human, and all human beings--aye, and elves, and dwarves, and all the other races--are flawed. But the Light loves us anyway. - Uther

Style Management will start the record of geosets. At that factor, you just need to simply select the checkbox to show/hide a geoset.
